2009: White slippers for Ozark Henry

Floris: “My first contact with Ozark Henry was in 2002 in a tiny record shop around the corner from my house. I was just browsing around when suddenly music erupted from a corner of the store. There was a keyboard, and a singing man, who turned out to be Ozark Henry. I was instantly mesmerized. That same night I dragged my brother Reynier to 013, the local concert venue, where Ozark was headlining the show. Since then, I've been following Ozark Henry.

Some time in 2009, I read in an interview that Piet Goddaer, the man behind Ozark Henry, tended to perform in slippers. That quote was a perfect challenge for me. We were chatting in no-time, and ended up designing the 'perfect slipper' with Piet. A basic white slipper with supple leather sole and comfortable insole. The leather insole sported a portrait of Piet and the outsole was donned with a laser engraving of the handwritten lyrics to the song 'Godspeed'."
