This is the sneaker we designed for the Team Visma - Lease a Bike. I also have a racing bike. My brother Pepijn and I bought it at the same time. When we picked it up at the bike shop, we ran into a man we knew when we were kids. We chatted a bit and told him that we really wanted to go cycling. We then set off to try out the bikes from the store. We drove straight to the forest cafe D'n Bockendriver in Esbeek. Within 45 minutes, we were sitting on the terrace in our brand new cycling outfit enjoying a Trappist beer. Guess who walked onto the terrace? The same guy we met earlier. With a big grin on his face, he gave us a knowing wink. Cycling is a great sport! I wish the ladies and gentlemen of Team Visma - Lease a Bike a lot of victory beers this year.
