Product details

This is a stylish casual shoe for men set on a lightweight profile sole. The durable commando tread ensures good grip under all conditions. The shoe is crafted from taupe printed suede sourced from a specialised Italian tannery in Santa Croce sull’Arno. After tanning, the suede has undergone an additional treatment with vegetable oils. This treatment gives the material a lightly oiled feel and a rich, refined appearance. The footbed, which runs from heel to toe, is removable and can be replaced with a custom insole or orthotic if desired. This shoe is built on an H-width last, making it suitable for slightly wider feet. If you have a narrower foot, our comparable but slightly slimmer Sturdi line may be a good alternative. For men’s shoes, Floris van Bommel uses the English (UK) shoe size system in whole and half sizes (5 to 13½). This allows for a very accurate fitting range. The two tables below show how the UK sizes relate to EU sizes and centimetres. In the video, we show you how to measure your feet correctly.

This makes me wonder whether we should supply knee pads with every purchase. With these shoes, your feet will feel so light that your knee might shoot up with every next step and—bam!—you'll break your nose. These days, companies are liable for just about everything, right? Anyway... I'll look into that. These shoes offer the best of both worlds: a proper winter shoe with an insulating sole and a non-slip tread, whilst also being incredibly light and flexible.
