"My 6 and 8-year-old nephews recently, and quite loudly, counted all the things in my house in the shape of an animal. As it turns out, I've got quite a few of those... An octopus candlestick, grasshopper statuettes, elephant book stoppers, a stuffed duck and rooster, a donkey ottoman, a black porcelain panther, a zebra hide, a large, wooden monkey statue and so much more. After they left, I pulled the decorative cork in the shape of a deer head from the bottle of red wine that was waiting for me and took some time to think about this.
